Summary
Shannon is an associate in Taft’s Chicago office where she focuses her practice on complex tax matters. She has extensive research experience including SALT research concerning application of sales and use tax across a variety of industries and technical research on tax implications of global transactions and restructurings.
Shannon earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and her bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in political science from the University of Arizona. While in law school, Shannon served as a Senior Editor for the Journal of Regulatory Compliance and was a federal tax clinician for the Loyola University Chicago School of Law Tax Clinic. She graduated with Tax and Transactional Law Certificates.
