Sasha Shadrina

Sasha is an associate in Taft’s Denver office in the Public Finance and Economic Development group, where she serves public and private clients in connection with tax-exempt and taxable financing transactions. She assists clients with preparation and review of disclosure, financing, and due diligence documents to support economic growth and infrastructure development.

Prior to joining Taft, Sasha served as a judicial law clerk to Chief Justice Monica M. Márquez of the Colorado Supreme Court.

Sasha earned her J.D., Order of the Coif, from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. In law school, she was awarded the Melanie Hardaway Memorial Award for Outstanding Graduate, the Hartje Objective Writing Award, two Scholastic Excellence Awards in legal writing, and the Professionalism Award at The Closer National Transactional Law Competition. Sasha served as an Associate Editor and Equity Committee Member of the Denver Law Review, a research assistant at the Sturm College of Law Westminster Law Library, and a teaching assistant in legal writing. She also completed two summer associate programs with the firm.

Sasha earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude and with University Honors, in business information and analytics from the University of Denver Daniels College of Business.
