Summary
Sara is dedicated to advising clients on the technical and strategic implications of complex transactions and tax law, so they can achieve their business objectives in the most efficient manner. She advises clients on tax planning, governance, structuring, and compliance matters with an emphasis on risk management and long-term sustainability.
Prior to joining Taft, Sara was a tax manager with an independent tax advisory firm where she guided clients through tax-exempt applications, reorganizations, charitable giving and strategies, unrelated business income tax, and transaction structuring matters.

Outside of her practice, Sara is actively involved in her community. She currently serves on advisory committees for the Chicago Yacht Club, the Chicago Area Sail Racing Association, and the University Club of Chicago.
