Summary
Samuel is an associate in Taft’s Tax practice in the Detroit office and has experience in tax planning including tax opinion preparation, private letter ruling requests, and securities offerings.
Prior to joining Taft, Samuel worked at the Internal Revenue Service Chief Counsel office. He advised on multinational corporate group transactions as well as other business transactions for partnerships and S Corporations.
Samuel earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School and bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and economics, summa cum laude, from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
