Summary

Rebecca is an attorney in Taft’s Litigation and Intellectual Property practices, where she helps clients prevent, litigate, and resolve a wide variety of disputes. Rebecca routinely provides quality guidance to clients in many areas of law including patent and trademark law, employment law, and commercial contracts. Rebecca has represented technology companies, universities, and commercial real estate lenders. She has experience briefing dispositive motions, discovery disputes, evidentiary motions, and appeals; taking depositions; managing discovery; and developing case strategies.

Prior to joining Taft, Rebecca worked as a legal intern at The U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey, researching legal issues for criminal and civil attorneys and writing briefs in support of summary judgment; and as a law clerk at a Washington, D.C. intellectual property law firm, assisting with a variety of duties. Rebecca also worked as a Student Attorney for Rising for Justice, representing tenants in D.C.’s Landlord Tenant Court.

Rebecca earned her J.D., from George Washington University Law School, where she served as a Tutor for Constitutional Law II, Evidence, and Government Contracts. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political communication from The George Washington University.
