Summary

Rachel is an associate in Taft’s Minneapolis office and focuses her practice on all aspects of public finance.

Prior to joining the firm, Rachel was a tax credit and finance attorney for the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, advising the agency in connection with the development and preservation of affordable housing financed with federal, state, and local tax incentives. She also has experience in private practice, representing developers (for-profit, nonprofit, and governmental) of tax credit-financed affordable housing and lenders and investors in solar energy projects.

Rachel earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School where she was a member of the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Competition Team and a student director of the Federal Immigration Litigation Clinic. She earned her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Macalester College.
