Summary

Ozzie is an attorney, a seasoned investment executive and business leader with extensive experience across private credit, capital markets, real estate, and corporate transactions. He has built and led businesses spanning financial services, operating companies, and real estate holdings, and has participated in complex public and private market transactions throughout his career.

Ozzie is the Chief Investment Officer for Alecko Capital and EVP Capital Markets for its Private Credit Fund, Alecko Lending. He was the founder and CEO of Windy City Motorcycle Company and related Real Estate Holdings, founded in 2000 and sold in 2025.

Ozzie has also worked with Equity Group Investments, a Sam Zell Organization, where he participated in numerous transactions, including multiple real estate deals, the acquisition of Schwinn Bicycle Company, private and public debt funds and the formation of three Zell-originated Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) to include Manufactured Housing Communities, (NYSE-MHC), Equity Residential Properties Trust (NYSEEQR) and Equity Office Properties (NYSE-EOP).

Ozzie sits on multiple private company and charitable Boards and is a retired United States Navy Captain. He was forward deployed on multiple tours with Joint Special Operations Task Forces, including to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF), Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and to other theaters throughout the Globe in support of Maritime Intercept Operations (MIO).
