Summary
Brandon L. Arents is Of Counsel in the Phoenix office, where he focuses his practice on public finance and infrastructure projects. Brandon has served as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, lender’s counsel and disclosure counsel in a variety of tax-exempt and taxable financings, including financings for special taxing districts, affordable multifamily housing projects, catastrophe bonds, hospital systems, universities, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities at all levels of state government.
Brandon is a solutions-oriented advisor who guides clients through the complexities of novel transactions. His experience includes serving as bond counsel to the largest catastrophe bond exposed to wildfire risk in U.S. history, the tender, exchange and restructuring of billions of dollars of sovereign debt, and innovative economic development projects across the country.
Prior to joining Taft, Brandon was a senior associate in the public finance department of an international law firm. His experience includes a clerkship with Judge Patricia A. Orozco at the Arizona Court of Appeals in Phoenix.
