Nicole Mattingly

Summary

Based in Taft’s Chicago office, Nicole focuses her practice in complex litigation matters, including commercial disputes, tort claims, and insurance matters. She represents individuals and companies in various state and federal courts.

Prior to joining Taft, Nicole was a litigation associate with a national law firm in Columbus, Ohio. She has served as a law clerk in the Delaware County, Ohio Court of Common Pleas for the Hon. David M. Gormley and externed for Magistrate Judge Chelsey M. Vascura in the Southern District of Ohio.

Nicole earned her J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and bachelor’s degrees, summa cum laude, in political science and business management from the University of Kentucky. While in law school, Nicole was an editor for the Ohio State Law Journal, a Student Bar Association representative, and a member of the 2021 Hunton Andrews Kurth Moot Court National Championship competition team.

Nicole is not licensed to practice in Illinois.
