Summary

Nathan is a senior associate in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice, and his experience spans varied industries and matters.

His practice involves commercial real estate disputes, including landlord-tenant and premises liability litigation; business acquisition disputes, such as earn-outs and warranty breaches; corporate governance disputes including business dissolution and derivative actions, government investigations, and local and administrative liability; and creditors’ rights and post-judgment collections actions. Nathan also advises technology clients on data privacy issues around litigation.

Nathan has been named to the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 – Georgia annually since 2023 and as one of Best Lawyers®: Ones to Watch for Commercial Litigation Law annually since 2024.

Nathan earned his J.D. from University of Georgia School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Emory University.

While in law school, he interned for the Honorable David R. Sweat of the Superior Court of Georgia’s Western Judicial Circuit and the Honorable Timothy C. Batten Sr. of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Prior to entering private practice, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Robert Benham on the Supreme Court of Georgia.
