Summary

Max is an associate in Taft’s Detroit office. He focuses his practice on a broad range of corporate matters with a focus on buy and sell side mergers and acquisitions. Well-versed in transactional matters, Max represents companies, private equity firms, family offices, strategic sector clients, and individuals in all transactional aspects from the planning stage to closing. Max also counsels clients regarding general corporate matters, governance, entity formation, financing, series fundraising, debt issuance, real estate, and other pertinent matters inherent to operating a business.

Max earned his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and his bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Michigan, where he was a four-year letter winner with the varsity hockey team. While in law school, Max was an Associate Editor for the Wayne State Law Review and served as a law clerk for the United States House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee, Subcommittee on Oversight.
