Matthew J. Sieben

Matthew is an associate in Taft’s Minneapolis office where he regularly advises private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies, venture capital funds and strategic clients on domestic and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, investments, leveraged buy-outs, carve-outs and joint ventures.

Prior to joining the firm, Matthew was a private equity M&A associate for an international firm in Chicago.

Matthew earned his J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During law school, Matthew was a senior editor for the Northwestern Journal of International Law and Business.
