Matt advises high-growth companies and their private equity, growth capital, and venture capital investors on a range of corporate matters, including M&A and financing rounds. He supports emerging companies throughout their corporate lifecycles, from early-stage funding to growth equity financings, bolt-on acquisitions, and exits. Matt also represents private equity funds and their portfolio companies in corporate transactions, including platform acquisitions, bolt-on acquisitions, sell-side transactions and debt and equity financings. Matt has represented investors and companies in numerous and diverse industries, with substantial experience in the software, technology, and technology-enabled business services sectors.

Matt leverages the firm’s full-service bench of skilled attorneys to serve as outside general counsel and trusted advisor, providing legal support across the organization and coordinating legal advice. He provides strategic guidance on diverse legal and business matters, including acquisitions and divestitures, corporate governance, equity compensation, capital raising, and other general corporate matters.
