Mary E. Vareberg

As Director of Procurement and Business Solutions, Mary leads Taft’s operational procurement efforts and oversees business travel programs and firm insurance. She partners closely with internal stakeholders to support operational needs, identify efficiencies and implement processes that enhance consistency, value and transparency across Taft.

Mary brings more than 22 years of experience in procurement and business operations, with experience spanning the nonprofit and corporate sectors before transitioning to the legal industry in 2020. She is passionate about solving complex problems, mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement through thoughtful process design and practical, scalable solutions.

Mary earned her M.B.A. and bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, Minnesota.
