
Summary
Margot is an associate in Taft’s Cincinnati office in the Real Estate group. In addition to her real estate focus, Margot also has experience dealing with business and transactional matters. She provides real estate counsel to developers, investors, and small to medium sized businesses with regard to acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Margot was a corporate and commercial real estate attorney where she provided general counsel to myriad of closely held businesses with regard to corporate governance matters, including preparation of Operating Agreements, Bylaws, and Shareholders’ Agreements.
Margot earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati and her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in philosophy, politics and the public from Xavier University. While in law school, Margot served as the Notes and Comments Chair on the University of Cincinnati Law Review’s Executive Board.
