Summary

Maren acts as counsel to governmental entities, borrowers, and financial institutions in governmental purpose and conduit revenue bond transactions. She has experience financing numerous types of projects including public capital improvement projects, multifamily housing projects, manufacturing and solid waste facilities, sports arenas, senior living facilities, hospitals, charter schools, and higher education facilities. In addition, Maren acts as development counsel and assists municipal clients in their economic development, housing development, and redevelopment projects by advising clients on tax increment financing and other forms of financial assistance.

Maren earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and her bachelor’s degree in history from St. Olaf College. Following law school, Maren was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Charlene Hatcher, Hennepin Family Court.
