Summary
Mallory is an attorney in the Private Client practice group. She advises high-net worth individuals, families, and business owners on estate and wealth planning, business planning, probate and trust administration, charitable planning, and related tax matters.
Mallory works closely with her clients to implement sophisticated estate planning strategies to address their unique personal, family, and business objectives. Mallory regulary prepares various estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, tailored to each client’s needs. She prepares such documents with a focus on wealth preservation and transfer, estate and gift tax planning, charitable giving, incapacity planning, creditor and asset protection, business succession planning, and planning for family members with special needs.
In connection with her estate planning practice, Mallory often advises clients on the succession and transition of their closely-held, family businesses to younger generations. Her work includes advising clients on lifetime gifting, sales, and other wealth-transfer strategies. In developing a business succession plan, Mallory focuses on preserving family wealth and facilitating efficient and thoughtful transitions between generations.
Mallory also counsels clients through the trust and estate administration process and various probate court proceedings. She also provides guidance on guardianship and conservatorship matters, will and trust contests, and disputes involving breaches of fiduciary duties.
