Madeleine is a talented family law practitioner and skilled litigator whose passion for trial work drives her practice. She represents clients at every stage of domestic relations cases, from initial consultation through final resolution. Madeleine believes that informed clients make better decisions and she is committed to advising clients with the information they need to feel prepared and empowered to make the most important decisions of their lives.

From doctors and lawyers to entrepreneurs and business executives, Madeleine successfully guides clients through intricate financial matters, crafting creative solutions for the individual family’s needs.

Madeleine has favorably resolved contentious divorces, regularly advising on and structuring agreements regarding the allocation of parental responsibilities, child support, custody, maintenance, relocation, and high-asset property distributions. She has secured and defended temporary and permanent protection orders for clients and has represented clients in contempt hearings, in arbitration proceedings, and post-decree modification hearings.

A collaboratively trained lawyer, Madeleine is often able to help spouses amicably end their marriage or resolve disputes without the need for litigation.

Through her deep passion for trial work, Madeleine serves as an adjunct professor of trial advocacy at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she coaches the award-winning National Trial Team, bringing the same courtroom dedication she brings to her clients into the next generation of trial lawyers.
