Lisa has multiple roles in recruitment and employee management for the firm. She directs the recruitment and onboarding processes for all positions. Lisa manages the on-campus interview process and the firm-wide summer program. In addition, she is responsible for all entry-level and lateral associate recruitment and supports the firm’s managing partner and partners in charge of the firm’s offices in efforts related to lateral partner recruitment.
She works closely with the Associate Advancement and Recruiting Committee, as well as the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, in all aspects of recruiting, professional development, and evaluation of the firm’s associates and counsel. Lisa also works with Human Resources in managing all other aspects of the employment relationship.
Prior to joining Taft in 2007, Lisa worked at a regional Midwest law firm for nine years as the Director of Legal Personnel. She also has experience in corporate business development and is a Certified Relocation Professional.
Lisa is an active member of the National Association for Law Placement and served on the Board of Directors from 2006 to 2008. She was also vice chair of the Lawyer Development Committee. Lisa is a graduate of the United Way of Central Indiana’s Executive Women’s Leadership Series.
