Summary
Lexa assists attorneys in all areas of U.S. trade law and international trade agreements at Taft’s Washington, D.C. Dupont Circle office. She prepares and submits filings for countervailing duty, antidumping, and other trade remedy proceedings and related matters. In addition, she conducts research and analysis in support of trade remedies, trade policy, and litigation matters.
Prior to joining Taft, Lexa interned with law firms, nonprofit organizations, and local politicians. Her most recent position was as a legal assistant for a multipractice firm in Pittsburgh where she drafted and filed legal documents for property conservatorship cases. She also attended court hearings and client meetings to aid in coordination between attorneys, clients and courts.
Lexa earned a bachelor’s degree in law, criminal justice & society and Chinese from the University of Pittsburgh.
