Lauren E. Hicks

Lauren is an associate in Taft’s Indianapolis office and focuses her practice on all aspects of business law. She advises clients on intricate details related to transactional matters and assists with drafting and negotiating clients’ commercial agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Lauren worked as a corporate attorney for an AM Law 100 law firm where she supported corporate clients in a variety of industries.

Lauren earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Indiana University Kelley School of Business. While in law school, Lauren was a member of the Inmate Legal Assistance Project and the Intellectual Property Clinic. She also gained valuable experience as a tax intern at a Big Four accounting firm in Chicago and as an accounting intern at a nationally recognized advisory, tax, and audit firm in Indianapolis.
