Summary

Kim designs and executes business development and marketing strategies to foster client growth and expand opportunities for Taft’s Denver office. As a director of business development, she oversees daily operations including content creation, branding and creative materials, events and sponsorships, and business development.

With more than three decades of experience, she brings the unique perspective from the media, marketing, corporate external relations, and legal professions. Her experience includes launching two websites, implementing search engine optimization (SEO), writing, editing, and coaching.

Prior to joining the firm, Kim spent more than seven years with a national law firm headquartered in the Midwest, where she was a content strategist, writer, editor, and website manager. She also served on the firm’s various diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) steering committees.

Additionally, Kim spent more than seventeen years in various roles in external relations for The Procter & Gamble Co. She brings a broad knowledge of B2C communications, strategic content creation, media relations, social media management, website creation, training, project management, vendor management, risk assessment and avoidance, and crisis management.

Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northern Kentucky University, where she worked at the daily newspaper, The Cincinnati Enquirer.
