Kim Vinje

Summary

With experience in both Taft’s Marketing & Business Development and lateral Growth teams, Kim creates and implements business development and marketing programs to drive client development opportunities.

She provides business development support to the Sports and FinTech and PayTech practices, which includes drafting copy for practice descriptions, brochures, biographies, proposal responses, and other documents. Additionally, she assists with annual individual attorney and practice group business development plans; manages practice budgets; builds and maintains media and community relations; and assists with rankings, recognitions, and nominations.

With more than three decades of experience, she brings the unique perspective from the media, marketing, corporate external relations, and legal professions. Her experience includes launching two law firm websites, implementing search engine optimization (SEO), marketing strategies, writing, editing, and coaching.

Prior to joining the firm, Kim spent more than seven years with a national law firm headquartered in the Midwest, where she was a content strategist, writer, editor, and website manager. She also serves on the Women of Taft steering committee.

Additionally, Kim spent more than 17 years in various roles in External Relations for The Procter & Gamble Co. She brings a broad knowledge of B2C communications, strategic content creation, media relations, social media management, website creation, training, project management, vendor management, risk assessment and avoidance, and crisis management.

Kim earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northern Kentucky University, where she worked at the daily newspaper, The Cincinnati Enquirer.
