Summary
Kevin is an attorney at Taft, where he focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, divestitures, equity investments, and corporate governance matters. He represents public and private companies, private equity funds, and portfolio companies in a variety of complex business transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions.
Bringing extensive corporate governance experience to his practice, Kevin advises clients on responses to activist investors, reviews of strategic alternatives, SEC filing preparation, and SEC compliance. He represents both domestic and international clients across a broad range of industries and sectors.
Kevin has been recognized among the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for 2024.
Kevin earned his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, where he was an Earl B. Dickerson Scholar and served as president of the Black Law Students Association. He obtained his B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Akron.
