Summary
Kelli Jachimiak is a paralegal in Taft’s Indianapolis office. She has been a litigation paralegal since 1990, specializing in the defense of multi-district and mass tort litigation, including asbestos and silica matters, toxic tort, products liability, medical devices, medical malpractice, environmental remediation, premises liability, insurance coverage reviews, and other commercial litigation matters. Before joining Taft in April 2022, Kelli was the Senior Litigation Paralegal at another Indianapolis firm. She handled all aspects of high-level case management, from initial fact analysis, historical research and investigation, document collection and review, development of evidence, preparation of medical chronologies, and computations of special damages, to drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses. Throughout her career, Kelli has acquired invaluable experience preparing for and attending numerous depositions, hearings, and trials in various state and federal districts.
Kelli studied communications at Indiana University at South Bend and earned her paralegal certification in 1990. She is also active in the Indiana Paralegal Association, serving as Student Section Chair since 2022.
