Summary

Katherine is a paralegal in Taft’s Southfield office and provides support to the litigation practice groups and Aviation and Aerospace industry group. She has extensive experience in trial support, preparing litigation pleadings, legal and factual research, e-discovery, litigation technology support, and claims administration.

Katherine assists attorneys with all phases of a case, from start to finish. She participates in client meetings, meetings with experts, virtual depositions, discovery (including e-discovery), research, deposition summaries, medical records summaries, preparation of pleadings, document research, and retrieval, drafting Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, data/document management, and trial and post-judgment matters. She works with document-review platforms such as Relativity, as well as the litigation case management tools West Case Notebook, and West Case Timeline. Katherine provides valuable support to attorneys in general commercial litigation and aviation law.

Katherine earned her bachelor’s degree in legal assistant studies from Lake Superior State University.
