Summary

As Chief Business Development Officer, Kate leads successful collaborations between the marketing and business development teams, executive committee, and practice leaders across the firm. She focuses on Taft’s unique client service to strengthen its brand and position in the marketplace.

In her role, Kate creates and implements growth strategies for the firm, including client, partner, and revenue expansion. Her responsibilities include strategic development, practice growth, and leadership succession programs, as well as communications, public relations, and marketing and business development.

In addition to her professional responsibilities, Kate serves on the Pro Bono Committee, assisting with the firm’s corporate social responsibility outreach, and is also actively involved in her community. She is a Board Director for the Atlanta Women’s Foundation, where she helped to develop their women’s leadership program, Inspire Atlanta. She is also the Community Relations Chair for the Dunwoody, Georgia chapter of the Young Men’s Service League.
