Karinne C. Orchanian

As Director of Associate Advancement, Karinne focuses on the development of the firm’s lawyers through associate-related strategies and goals. She brings a depth of experience in attorney growth and professional development.

Prior to joining Taft, Karinne worked at Detroit Mercy School of Law as the Director of Career Services for Student Employment where she provided career counseling, facilitated programming, and conducted outreach to promote career development for  students. She also served as the Interim Dean of Student Affairs at Detroit Mercy Law where she assisted students in successfully navigating their law school experience. Prior to that, Karinne was a practicing attorney in civil litigation at a multi-state firm.

Karinne earned her J.D. from Wayne State University and her bachelor’s degree from James Madison College at Michigan State University.
