Summary
Kaitlin advises high-net-worth individuals and families in the creation of estate plans, including advising clients on multigenerational wealth preservation, tax planning, charitable planning and the efficient administration of trusts and estates. She listens to the unique wishes of each client to help her create individualized wealth transfer strategies, protect assets from potential creditors and incorporate clients’ charitable objectives.
She has extensive experience consulting on federal income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues, including reviewing and preparing tax returns for individuals, estates and trusts. Kaitlin prepares core estate planning documents, including last wills and testaments, revocable trusts, powers of attorney and advanced health care directives and advises on probate and trust administration matters, for both individual and corporate trustees and personal representatives.
Kaitlin earned her J.D., cum laude, and an L.L.M. in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where she was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team and the Senior Director of Administration for the Florida Entertainment and Sports Law Review. She holds a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from George Mason University.
