Prior Prior to Taft, Julia held several senior roles focused on tax strategy and estate planning. Most recently, she served as Senior Counsel for a mid-size regional law firm where she led complex technical reviews of tax filings, conducted in-depth research on federal, state and local income tax issues, and authored formal memoranda on a range of technical tax matters. She provided strategic tax consulting and planning services with a focus on wealth transfer, trust taxation, gift planning and tax controversy. Throughout her career Julia has been a leader in developing and executing formal and informal trainings for broad audiences.
