Summary

Jorge is an associate in Taft’s Chicago office and represents a broad range of clients throughout the full cycle of various public and private M&A transactions.

Prior to joining the firm, Jorge was an attorney with a multinational law firm where he advised clients on a variety of matters related to M&A transactions, equity investments, and corporate governance.

Jorge earned his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was the Managing Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review, President of the Latina/o Law Students Association, and President of the Bankruptcy Law Society. Jorge holds a Master of Science degree in applied economics from Montana State University, a Master of Science degree in applied and computational mathematics from the University of Minnesota, and bachelor’s degrees in mathematics, economics, and languages and international studies from the College of St. Scholastica.
