Summary

Jorge is an associate in Taft’s Chicago office and represents clients throughout the full cycle of public and private business transactions, with a focus on venture capital, fund formation, and M&A across industries including digital assets, blockchain, and AI.

Prior to joining the firm, Jorge was an attorney with a multinational law firm where he advised clients on a variety of matters related to M&A transactions, equity investments, and corporate governance.

Jorge earned his J.D., summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Illinois College of Law, where he was the Managing Editor of the University of Illinois Law Review, President of the Latina/o Law Students Association, and President of the Bankruptcy Law Society. Jorge holds a Master of Science degree in applied economics, a Master of Science degree in applied and computational mathematics, and bachelor’s degrees in mathematics, economics, and languages and international studies.
