Jenny Davenport

Jenny Davenport is Chief Growth Officer at Taft and a member of the firm’s leadership team. She leads the firm’s Growth Team and works closely with leadership to support Taft’s strategic expansion through lateral recruiting and initiatives that strengthen the firm’s visibility in the lateral market.

Jenny collaborates closely with practice and office leaders to identify and engage high-impact lateral partners and groups whose practices align with the firm’s collaborative culture and national platform. She leads the Growth Team’s efforts to develop the messaging, tools, and outreach strategies used to communicate Taft’s value proposition to prospective attorneys and support the firm’s lateral recruiting efforts.

Having previously served in Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer and Chief Operating Officer roles, Jenny brings a multidisciplinary perspective to law firm growth and strategy. Drawing on that experience, she works across teams to help ensure the firm’s growth initiatives are thoughtful, coordinated, and aligned with Taft’s broader strategic priorities.

Jenny is particularly focused on helping entrepreneurial attorneys find a platform where their practices, clients, and colleagues can thrive.
