Jenia Thompson

Jenia is an associate in Taft’s Detroit office and advises clients through all stages of commercial litigation. In addition to being a summer associate with the firm, Jenia gained valuable legal experience as a judicial intern to the Hon. Judith E. Levy, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.

Jenia earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in political science from Grand Valley State University. While in law school, Jenia was President of the Student Bar Association, a Moot Court Junior Member, and an active member of the Black Law Student Association.
