Jasmine Vaca

Jasmine serves as Taft’s Director of Docketing and Legal Support Services, providing strategic leadership and oversight of the firm’s docketing operations. With extensive experience in litigation, Jasmine focuses on strengthening risk management, advancing operational excellence, leveraging technology, developing talent, and building scalable service models that support the evolving needs of the firm.

Jasmine leads the advancement of firmwide docketing operations, developing policies and procedures across multiple practice groups, standard operating procedures, quality-control standards, and workflows that strengthen accuracy, consistency, accountability, and risk mitigation. Jasmine leverages operational metrics and workload trends to guide capacity planning, staffing strategy, resource allocation, and process improvement.

A champion of technology and operational transformation, Jasmine successfully led Taft’s Litigation Docketing team through its migration from Aderant CompuLaw to Aderant Milana, guiding change management, workflow integration, user adoption, and operational continuity. Jasmine also implemented a centralized workflow system to strengthen workload visibility, assignment management, accountability, and service delivery.

Jasmine is committed to developing high-performing teams and future leaders through coaching, mentorship, and professional development. Prior to becoming Director, Jasmine served as Taft’s National Litigation Docket Manager. Jasmine is also a member of the National Docketing Association, Chicago Chapter.
