James Cory

James is an associate in Taft’s West Palm Beach office, where he represents clients in complex commercial and business litigation matters. His practice spans a range of disputes, including intellectual property, contracts, and business torts.

In addition to his legal practice, James serves on the South Florida Advisory Council for ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, supporting fundraising and community engagement efforts on behalf of St. Jude’s mission.

James earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and his bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in marketing from Virginia Tech. Prior to starting law school, James was a pre-law intern for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
