Summary

Jacob is a trusted advisor for people who are facing the economic, emotional, and legal difficulties connected to changes in family relationships. He represents business owners, executives, managers, medical professionals, athletes, artists, philanthropists, and politicians in the complex legal challenges connected to divorce. This includes advising and litigating on behalf of clients on matters involving closely held businesses, family offices, property division, child custody, establishment and enforcement of child and spousal support, establishment of paternity, international child custody and abductions under the Hague Convention, and preparation of prenuptial agreements.

In addition to his Domestic Relations practice, Jacob advises clients on probate and fiduciary litigation. Jacob owned and operated his own law office prior to joining Taft in 2017.

Jacob earned his J.D., magna cum laude, from Capital University Law School and his Bachelor’s Degree at The Ohio State University, where he was a Humanities’ Scholar and a Phi Alpha Theta, National History Honor Society, Zeta Chapter member.
