Jacob E. Debus

Jacob’s practice includes advising private equity funds and private companies in various types of transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, lending matters, and strategic transitions of ownership to employees through employee stock ownership plans (ESOP), employee ownership trusts (EOT), or grants of ownership interests to key employees. He has additional experience providing general business counseling and legal guidance to a wide variety of clients of various structures, including sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations.

Jacob earned his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and his bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary business management with a focus in legal studies from Miami University.
