Summary

Ian is an associate in Taft’s Atlanta office with a focus on product liability litigation, commercial transportation, construction, general liability, and mass torts.

Prior to joining Taft, Ian practiced insurance defense, representing corporate clients, commercial trucking and construction companies, premises owners, apartment complexes, manufacturers, and other general liability defendants in Georgia state and federal courts, managing a high-volume caseload through all phases of litigation.

He earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame. While in law school, Ian was an active member of the Corporate and Business Law Society and the Emory Moot Court Society. He is passionate about advocating for foster care policy reform, having worked extensively with multiple child welfare organizations at both the federal and state levels consulting on policy.
