Summary

Holland is a seasoned tax attorney with extensive experience in tax credit compliance, litigation, and advisory services across federal and state jurisdictions. He has represented a diverse clientele, including corporations, pass-through entities, and individuals, before the IRS and state taxing authorities.

Before joining Taft, Holland was in-house at a leading HR and payroll company, where he served as the head of tax credit compliance. In this position, he led strategic initiatives to monitor legislative changes, educate stakeholders, and integrate cutting-edge technologies—such as generative AI—into tax credit substantiation processes, resulting in significant operational efficiencies.

Holland received his JD, cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law where he was the Associate Legislative Editor of the Georgia State University Law Review. He also holds a master’s degree in Taxation from Georgia State University’s J. Mack Robinson College of Business.
