Eric P. Alpert

Eric’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, finance, and general corporate matters, with deep experience acquiring businesses in the HVAC, precision machining, and aerospace industries. He has a particular focus on mid-market M&A for private equity portfolio companies, guiding clients through the full transaction lifecycle from deal structuring and due diligence through the closing and post-closing processes.  In addition to his transactional M&A work, Eric provides general corporate counsel, advising on day-to-day financings, corporate governance, contract, and operational matters.

Eric appreciates that in any transaction, the business issues are often more important than the legal issues. With this in mind, he takes a practical, business-minded approach when advising clients, helping principals understand the legal issues while maintaining focus on the broader commercial context of the deal.

Eric proudly serves as a board member and secretary for 5280 Recovery High School and as an advisory board member for the Young Americans Center for Financial Education.
