Summary

Edward is an associate at Taft where he focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Taft, Edward was a Pathways Law Clerk at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation where he helped draft a Notice of Proposed Rulemaking and assisted the FDIC’s Fintech Innovation team on a variety of projects. Additionally, Edward was an Honors Law Clerk at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement Asset Management Unit, and was a summer law clerk at a consumer lender’s corporate legal department.

He is a graduate of University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law where he was a senior editor of the Maryland Journal of International Law. Edward earned his undergraduate degree from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
