Summary
Devina is an associate in Taft’s Cleveland office and focuses her practice on all aspects of commercial litigation.
Prior to joining Taft, Devina worked as a criminal justice clinic investigative intern at Georgetown University Law Center investigating and preparing evidentiary reports and conducting trial preparation activities. She was also the founder and President of Cleveland Liberty Expressions, a group designed to promote literacy, community support, and introspective learning for juveniles and young adults in the Cuyahoga County Detention Center.
Devina earned her J.D. from George Washington University School of Law and her bachelor’s degree in English and finance from Case Western Reserve University. During law school, Devina worked at the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center and at the Family Law Clinic advocating on behalf of victims of domestic violence. Devina was Vice-President of the South Asian Bar Association and was a summer associate at Taft for two consecutive years.
