Summary
With more than 30 years of experience advising health care and life sciences companies, Debbie brings tremendous experience advising on complex regulatory issues, and provides extensive subject matter knowledge on business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, investigations, and litigation.
Debbie is considered a leader on regulatory matters who is deeply committed to providing timely, comprehensive, and practical advice to her clients. She counsels health care, managed care, medical device, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and business clients on regulatory matters, including licensing, fraud and abuse, applications, compliance and reimbursement, and helps her clients navigate the regulatory landscape.
EXPERIENCE
Debbie has served innovative leaders in medical technology, such as X-spine Systems and Xtant Medical Systems, as the principal senior legal counsel for medical device, regulatory, and compliance issues, as well as acting as the Compliance Officer for Aerobiotix, Inc. She is the principal legal counsel for Alternate Solutions Health Network for health-care related and regulatory matters. Additionally, she advises device, pharmaceutical and medical technology, home health and hospice agencies, and managed care companies and providers on regulatory compliance and filings, fraud and abuse, and other matters.
Debbie represents clients in resolving matters with CMS, the FDA, and various state agencies, she assists in conducting internal investigations and helps establish and implement corporate policies, procedures, and metrics to align with compliance and regulatory requirements.
Debbie was named as a “Women We Admire in Healthcare” in 2022 and is a member of Taft’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice Group.
