Summary

David is a member of the Real Estate practice group in Taft’s Cleveland office. He focuses his versatile practice on the representation of regional and national commercial real estate clients in transactions related to the acquisition, disposition, leasing, and development of real property. His experience also includes representing clients in real estate joint ventures. David’s practice spans a wide variety of real estate asset types, including multi-family, college student housing, industrial, office, and mixed-use.

David received his J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law where he served as a marketing editor and associate editor for The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, the official law journal of the American Bar Association’s Section on Dispute Resolution. During law school, David was published by The Moritz College of Law Drug Enforcement and Policy Center, received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in both Legal Analysis and Writing I and Sentencing Law, and also worked as a legal intern for the Franklin County Prosecutor’s Office and the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.

David is a Cleveland native, graduating from local Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School and later earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dayton, cum laude.
