Dana advises high-net-worth individuals, their families, and their closely held businesses on the legal and tax complexities of wealth transfer and preservation. He also assists personal representatives, trustees, and beneficiaries in complex probate and trust administrations.
He understands and appreciates the needs, sensitivities, and wishes of each client, which enables him to implement tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies designed to preserve family legacies through the generations, protect assets from potential creditors and incorporate clients’ philanthropic and other non-tax objectives.
Dana earned his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law with a certificate in business law. While in law school, he worked as a legislative intern for Ways & Means Committee and as an extern in the Office of the General Counsel for the Florida House of Representatives. Dana holds an LL.M. in taxation with a certificate in estate planning from Georgetown University Law Center and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Florida State University.
