Summary
Dakota is an International Trade Analyst in the firm’s International Trade practice. In this role, he monitors clients’ anti-dumping and countervailing duty proceedings, prepares and files questionnaire responses and briefs at the U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. International Trade Commission, and collaborates on requests for exclusion from tariffs imposed under Section 232 of the Trade Expansion Act of 1962.
Prior to joining the firm, Dakota was a Senior International Trade Compliance Analyst in the International Trade Administration unit of the U.S. Department of Commerce. In this role, Dakota calculated U.S. antidumping duties, implemented U.S. government-directed trade actions, and issued instructions to U.S. Customs and Border Protection on the implementation of such U.S. government-directed trade actions.
