Summary

Courtney is an associate in Taft’s Dayton office and focuses her practice on breach of contract and other business disputes. She has experience handling cases involving bad faith, negligence, personal injury, foreclosure, construction disputes, surety bonds, insurance coverage decisions (pre-suit), premises liability, and employment law.

Courtney earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Dayton School of Law. She also holds a master of public administration degree in public health and a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Indiana State University. Prior to her law career, Courtney spent over sixteen years working as a firefighter and paramedic. She often draws on her medical background to defend businesses against personal injury and other liability claims.
