Summary

Chris Sexton is the Director of Knowledge and Research Services for Taft. Prior to joining the firm, Chris was a Research Librarian at an international law firm and Research Services Manager with Briggs and Morgan, prior to Taft’s combination with Briggs.

Chris earned a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Dominican University (St. Catherine University) and a bachelor’s degree in history from Saint John’s University.  He was recognized as an Unsung Hero by Minnesota Lawyer in 2018.  He also received the Briggs and Morgan State of the Firm Innovation Award in 2018.

Chris is a member of the American Association of Law Librarians (AALL) and Minnesota Association of Law Librarians (MALL). He is a former member of the Special Libraries Association (SLA) and a former member of Thomson Reuters Information Professional Advisory Board (2022-2024).
