Summary
Caroline is a transactional attorney whose practice centers on advising insurers in connection with underwriting representations and warranties insurance policies. Drawing on her extensive deal-making acumen, honed through representing private equity buyers, strategic acquirers, and family-owned sellers in complex M&A transactions, she brings a practical approach to underwriting. Caroline focuses on guiding insurers through policy negotiations, assessing deal-specific risks, and helping underwriters navigate the nuanced issues that arise across a wide range of industries.
Before focusing on transactional risk, Caroline handled a broad range of M&A transactions, debt and equity financings, and related corporate matters. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from the William & Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law and her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from DePaul University. She previously served as a judicial extern for the Hon. Roderick C. Young of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and as a fellow with the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary.
