Brett Wilson

Brett is a corporate attorney who focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, including private equity and venture capital transactions. Brett also provides general corporate counsel to businesses of all sizes on matters related to corporate governance, commercial contracting, capital raises, and joint ventures.

In addition to his corporate practice, Brett also advises businesses on a variety of data privacy and protection issues. Earlier in his career, he provided advisory services to Fortune 500 companies as a data privacy and cybersecurity associate at a Big Four accounting firm.

Prior to joining Taft, Brett was a corporate associate at an Indianapolis law firm, where he focused on general corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and real estate transactions. Brett received a juris doctor, cum laude, from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and a bachelor of arts, cum laude, from Taylor University.
